The Club is approximately 125 members give or take a few. A fifth of those members are from the U.S. so that leaves approx. 100 Canadian members spread across thousands of miles. Yes of the 100 members we beg for people to become involved with the club. Help us set up a Awards Committee; help us form a Rescue Committee (with club members who are knowledgeable about temperament and behaviour); help us by writing an Article for the Newsletter (to keep it interesting for other members to read). Yes people are willing to donate their money - but not their time, which is what the Club needs. If you seriously want to change the way the club is handling Rescue, why don't you offer to donate your time and form a Rescue Committee. Change the Rescue Policy, lay out solid guidelines so our Executive know what direction Club members want to take. Don't always leave change for someone else in the club to handle. If you are not willing to take the time to help make these improvements, then don't complain. These comments are my own and do not in any way reflect the clubs'.
